The In Between Wardrobe

At the moment I am at the beginning of my weight loss journey, so currently I am about 3 stones away from my target weight.  I am a terrible yo-yo dieter (which is really frustrating as I know what I need to do to lose weight, but I can't seem to stick to it), last year I was 2 stone lighter than I am now and only one stone away from target weight, but without going into a massive long story(we'll save that for another time), I have put that weight back on.

Obviously I am not going to get to my target weight overnight and I still need to wear clothes in the meantime that fit, so this post is about 'the in between wardrobe'.

I have always had a thing for designer clothes as well as really good high street copies, but because I don't really feel body confident at the moment and will only be wearing the clothes during the transition from where I am now, to where I want to be, I really don't want to be spending a lot on clothes.

This post is about looking good and wearing nice clothes while on a tight budget, as I am also a bit of a bargain hunter, here are some of my top picks of some cool websites to shop for clothes that won't break the bank.

One obvious choice for clothes shopping is online is Ebay
But I wanted to share a few others with you that you may not of heard about.

everything5pounds.com1. Everything is £5
This is an excellent site for getting cheap fashion and I have bought some stuff off here in the past. As they get their clothes from various suppliers, the sizing is not always consistent and there can sometimes be an issue with the sizing, so sometimes you may need to get the next size up. Clothes are of a good quality and they do offer a good range of sizes. They use Royal Mail to deliver rather than a courier and if you buy a lot of clothes this can work out to be a bit expensive for the postage. But overall a good site.

2. Just for £5
I haven't bought as much from this site.  But I bought some jeans off here and they were really good quality and I was very happy that they had a long 34' leg in the jeans as most cheap fashion usually tend to only sell the standard lengths.  Returns are very simple and straightforward as I returned a dress that I bought and it was credited back very quickly.

3. Desire Clothing
Desire Clothing
A bit pricier than the other two, but still quite cheap.  Not used this site before, but they have some lovely clothes on their site and they do a good range of sizes going up to size 22 for some of the items.   P&P is also set at 3.95 for standard delivery.

Not everyone wants to buy clothes online, so I have included my favorite high street options as well.
George by Asda do good quality cheap clothes another one of my faves is:
New Look

4. New Look
I have picked up some really lovely dresses from here in the past and can still manage to get away with wearing one now as its made from a stretchy material, so it's got a lot of give in the material.

5. Peacocks
Just bought some leggings for £7.00, can never have enough leggings! Don't tend to shop here a lot, but when they have sales bargains can be had!

6. Select Fashion
Never bought anything from here, our local shop is always busy and it just makes me feel claustrophobic, I also find the stuff a bit too casual for me, but I just saw these nice dresses online in their outlet where items are super cheap!
They are only £7.99 each!

My birthday is just a few weeks away so I think that I may just have to treat myself to some early birthday presents.  If you know any other shops that you can recommend, please feel free to share them in the comments below.

Inhibitif Hair Free Body Hydrator

While out buying some lunch yesterday, I saw these in the reduced section in Boots:

Inhibitif Hair Free Body Hydrator for just £3.00 each!   They usually retail at around £14.99 so I ummed and aaahed for a bit and then thought that I would buy 2 and see how I get on.

When I got to the till to pay, the man on the till told me that they were 3 for 2!!!! So the bargain just got even better, now I just hope that it works!

I am going to use the lotion on my legs and I will post back after 8-10 weeks my results and let you know how I get on.

More information about the Inhibitif range can be found on their website:

My To do list for revamping my blog

I can't believe how bad some of the earlier pictures are!   Got to laugh really!  At the moment, I am going through checking for dead links and making a list of the pictures/posts that I am going to re shoot and edit.

Some of the products that I have reviewed I haven't got anymore, so I will have to decide if I am going to keep the dodgy looking photo's or take the photo's off as they really aren't doing much, in one of the pics, I have got a seriously shiny face and it ain't good.

My next thing to do is to look at buying a really good camera as the camera on my HTC Desire 510 just isn't up to it and learn how to post good looking pics in my posts.

I know that I said that I will be posting every day in June, but I also want to spend some of this time, working more on content and quality posts, so that in future, once the blog have been tidied/revamped, then it will look great and I won't need to spend time worrying about if my pictures or content are letting me down.

Juicy June & blogging challenge

I am going to be setting myself a challenge of trying to post everyday this month, alongside tidying up and re shooting some of the old blog pics!

I am also going to be taking part in another challenge and this will be Juicing and clean eating for the month of June.  I may have the odd day off as it's my birthday this month on the (23rd June) but I think that it's time that I finally get back into shape and feel good!

It's been a while......

Coming Soon!

Hi!  It's been ages since I have posted I know!

To be honest, life got in the way and I just lost my motivation and didn't feel that I had anything worth posting, so that is why there has been such a long break,

I am going to be revamping the blog, I am going to continue writing about and reviewing products, but will not be limited to just that and will also write anything and everything!

Over the next few weeks/months I am going to tidy up the blog, re shoot some of the pictures and edit some of the historic posts and moving forwards look to start writing about things that I want to share with you and that I think will be interesting to read about.

Speak to you soon! x x
