Clinique High Impact Mascara

Clinique High Impact Mascara has been described as “multi benefit mascara that adds maximum volume with definition and length.  The mascara has a specially developed brush and formula that work together to dramatically thicken lashes while separating.”
I managed to get my hands on this, as I took part in the Debenhams Clinique Mascara swap.  I traded in my previously tested Almay Dial up Mascara and walked out with this little beauty!

I didn’t know what to expect but I was pleased with the results.  I was going to my parents on Sunday afternoon and wanted to go for a soft natural look and opted just to wear a little BB cream (the new BB cream by Maybelline that I was sent to test) to even out my skin and this mascara.

My lashes looked fuller and thicker without the horrible spidery look that I really hate.  It didn’t make my lashes look longer though, but this is a mascara that I think that I could get on with and use.

The formula was perfect, not too thick, but the right consistency to coat your lashes without having to use too much (I think that I used about two coats).  However the best feature has to be the brush!!! I loved the brush; the mascara went on evenly and DIDN’T clump and think that this was down to the design of the brush.  It was also very good for my bottom lashes and they didn’t stick together.

This mascara made my lashes look a lot better, but still keep them looking natural.  Natural look is good sometimes, however…

I am obsessed with the false lash look and wonder how it would work with my Loreal Lash Primer or with my Divaderme Lash Fibres.   I will give this try and post the pics as soon as I get the chance.

Overall, nice natural look, good for days when you want to dress your eyes down a bit.
